- Free trial Fitness classes and Zumba party
The Fitness Studio is offering all regularly scheduled classes for FREE in honor of Womens Health and Fitness Day during the week of September 25th. Then end the week with Friday night "girls night out" by taking a master Zumba class with Eddie Calle. During this week prizes and free gifts will be awarded.
- Motor development in children workshop
Author and occupational therapist Jill Howlett Mays will discuss motor development in young children on Thursday, September 15 from 10:30-11:30 at the Ridgefield Library in the Dayton Program Room. Children can accompany parents and caregivers as Hays uses an interactive format for discussion. Discounted copies of her book will be available. No registration is necessary. - Fall/winter gardening discussion
Don't pack up your gardening tools for the season. Author and gardener Colleen Plimpton will return to the Ridgefield Library on Thursday, September 15 at 7 p.m. for a "show and tell" presentation about putting gardens to bed for the fall and winter. - Author talk about aging parents
The Greens at Cannondale in Wilton is presenting Dr. Francine Russo, an acclaimed doctor and author, who will speak about the topic of her book They're Your Parents, Too!
