However, things figure to get a whole lot tougher for Ridgefield, which joins St. Joseph as the FCIAC's only unbeaten teams and is ninth in this week's New Haven Register top 10 media state poll.
The Tigers' next three games are against FCIAC playoff hopefuls Danbury, Trinity Catholic and Bridgeport Central, although all three contests are at home.
Danbury jumped out of the game 7-0, but has lost its last two, so the Hatters will be looking to avoid a three-game losing streak.
Still, the losses came to powers Trinity Catholic and St. Joseph, which handed the Hatters an 84-66 setback on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, the Ridgefield girls have a rugged assignment as they visit Danbury (7 p.m.) the only unbeaten remaining in the FCIAC. The Hatters pounded a good St. Joseph team 54-27 on Tuesday to improve to 11-0.
Ridgefield dropped to 4-7 following a 59-54 loss to New Canaan on Tuesday, a game in which the Tigers held a 12-point haltime lead.

Dannny McMullen tallied the other goal for Ridgefield, which won two games in a span of 24 hours. The Tigers defeated Stamford 6-0 on Wednesday.
Greenwich dropped to 2-9.

The Ridgefield girls hockey team rallied for a 2-1 victory over Hamden on Thursday afternoon.
Cara Lockwood scored the tiebreaking goal with 48 seconds remaining for the Tigers, who improved to 9-3.
Heather Del Cervo had scored with just over six minutes remaining left in the third period to give Hamden a 1-0 lead.
But the Tigers quckly answered, tying the game on a power-play goal by Megan Galloway a minute later.
Heather Ogden made 22 saves for Ridgefield and Bria Reilly stopped 28 shots for Hamden (7-5).
