Police Seek Public's Help In Locating Homicide Suspect
Victim found stabbed to death in vehicle on Thursday.
STAMFORD--Police are requesting the public's help in locating Isaias Rojaz-Vasquez, a suspect in the stabbing death on Thursday of a Stamford man found in a car parked on Spruce Street.
In a news release, Lt. Jim Matheny says Rojaz-Vasquez stabbed the man while he was asleep in the car. Matheny says the events leading up to the murder are unknown, but police have some information they may have been involved in a confrontation Wednesday evening.
Rojas-Vasquez, 27, is "definitely on the run," Matheny says, and is considered armed and dangerous. He says a warrant for his arrest has been obtained.
The suspect's been seen in the area of East Haven and New Haven. Although police believe he's still in Connecticut, a wanted poster for him says he may be en route to Guatemala.
Rojas-Vasquez is described as Hispanic, 5-feet 5-inches tall, weighing 145 pounds. He last resided at 153 Spruce St., #1, on the city's west side.
He previously was arrested in Stamford in October 2008 for aggravated assault.
Anyone spotting Rojas-Vasauez is asked to contact the Stamford Police Detective Bureau at (203) 977-4413.

Let me get this right. Someone lost their life, the alleged murderer is on the run, and you find it appropriate to make a joke about the media and give the suspect a nickname? I can come up with several nicknames for you, none of which are appropriate for publication on Patch. Enjoy your 4th of July.

Patrick,
Please don't sugar coat any comments about me. I can take it.
As for the dead guy. He probably deserved it. Street justice is what these people know. The courts won't do anything for them. Until that changes it's the way it will be.
" ... with liberty and justice for all." The cloud that I live on, I realize this is not true.
Happy 4th

This article should have clearly indicated in which city/town this murder took place. The fact that the victim is reported to be a "Stamforn man" does not suffice.

This story has been edited to make clear the murder occurred in Stamford. Thanks to Patch Reader for noting this needed to be made clear. H.F.C.

chris--
Come on. Im not sure if your answer to 'patrick' reflects an inability to say you were wrong for your original post, or that you feel as though you need to demonstrate you are super street smart and aware of "WHAT'S REAL--MAN!!"
In any event, not everyone who dies , deserved it--.
I know my experiences in life are not the same as yours, but , in actuality--that is truly what is real.

Luca,
I don't care one way or the other. It's all entertainment to me.
Lets see what happens with the maid and the IMF chief.

chris---
It was on cover of NY post on thursday, friday, saturday, sunday and monday, so while you may think you have some sort of insight, Im thinking you may not be the only one who was aware of the faltering case against DSK.
But, who knows, maybe the newspapers got their tip from you. If that's the case--you should be commended.

The fact that a morally bankrupt person like DSK, who lives a life of luxury, would be the head of the IMF is quite telling. That "Socialists" want him to be the President of France is stunning commentary on the illogic and immorality of their cause.
Of course that is not at all unusual for socialists. Their demands defy all logic and history, as "socialist" regimes have brought about economic FAILURE and only MISERY for most people (other than the privileged 'ruling class')!!

Pati--
Im sorry--but Im aware of as many 'morally bankrupt' conservatives as liberals.
Im not even sure we can form any conclusions on Mr. Straus-Kahn, other than he certainly led a life far more luxurious than the people for whom he advocates for.
But, when dealing with politicians, or anyone who has an ability to control other people's money liberal, conservative, socialist or libertarian, the unfortunate reality is often, people who rise to the top, have a way of exposing themselves to be more self-interested than we all would like.

Luca,
Please let me try to clarify, you missed my point. It's not about me, I don't claim to have a crystal ball. It's about them and their use of "Street Justice."
"... libery and justice for all" Does not exist.
If you want "justice" look it up in the dictionary, it's the only place you will find it.

Yeah you mean the guy who found her......and the fact that the girl supposedly accidentally died in a pool....then they buried her, and wouldnt tell the cops where she was buried....because she 'was in a panic."
This reasonable doubt concept that people are lauding as "how the system should work"--and that it "reinforces the constitution" is so far from what justice really is about.
People should not applaud affirming the constitution; they should recognize how it is flawed, when a monster like that is allowed to go free, (killing your own kid because you like to dance at night?? ) under the guise of "reasonable doubt."
Scott Peterson correctly is in jail for killing Laci Peterson and all the evidence was circumstantial. Justice was done there---not here. Not to jump on bandwagon--but this is so wrong.

Thanks everybody for your comments. (I deleted the first one by Chris Noe by mistake, but it shouldn't have had a derogatory nickname for the wanted man in it.) I'm going to close the thread now, as discussion of the article appears to be over.
