Police Log: Suspended Licenses and Drunk Driving

Here is Ridgefield's week in arrests.

  • A Brookfield man was stopped for speeding last week on George Washington Highway. When police ran a check of his North Carolina license, they found that it was suspended and that his driving privileges had also been suspended in Connecticut.

Luis Deleg, 34, of Longview Dr., was charged on May 19 with traveling fast, driving without a license and driving with a suspended license.

He was released on a promise to appear in Danbury Superior Court on June 7.
  • John Brice, 48, of Whipstick Road, was charged Sunday with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct.
  • A Stratford man was charged with drunk driving after failing a sobriety test on Route 7 on Saturday.

Brian Glodgett, 29, of E. Main St., Stratford, was stopped by Ridgefield Police around 10:45 p.m. for failing to drive in the correct lane.

After failing the sobriety test, Glodgett was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, failure to drive right and failure to drive in the proper lane.

He was released on a $100 cash bond and is scheduled to appear in Danbury Superior Court on June 10.
