A new doctor’s office is opening on Old Ridgefield Road in Wilton.

According to a press release, Patrick Broderick, M.D., president of Western Connecticut Medical Group (formerly Danbury Office of Physician Services) has announced the opening of an affiliated primary care office at 20 Old Ridgefield Road.

The new location will be staffed by board certified internal medicine physicians Ben Hur Aguilar, MD, Carolyn Couture, MD, FACP and Arthur D’Souza, MBBS, MD.

Affiliated with Danbury Hospital, Western Connecticut Medical Group is a multi-specialty physician group that serves residents in Western Connecticut and Southeastern New York.

“Our involvement with Danbury Hospital goes much further than just referring our patients there,” the Group states on Danbury Hospital’s website. “It is where many of our physicians work. Several of our physicians spend part of their time teaching resident physicians. Our patients benefit from the research and lesson preparation of the latest and most effective medical care.”

Recently Patch reported that Danbury Hospital is using the Bill Williams gymnasium at Western Connecticut State University to care for people without power who are confined to their beds, or to wheel chairs or to oxygen tanks.
